2.2.1.1.6.1. General
The variants/versions I/viii, I/ix, I/x, I/xi, I/xii, I/xiii, II/xi, II/xii, II/xiii,
III/iv, III/v, III/vi, III/vii, III/viii, III/ix, IV/iv, IV/v and IV/vi are fitted with
anti-lock devices on the brakes of both wheels independently.
The anti-lock devices fulfil all requirements specified in Annex, Appendix 2
of Directive 93/14/EEC.
The test results stated under section 2.2.1.1.4.2. above were achieved with
vehicle version without the anti-lock device. Although, the device usually
did not operate during the tests when the vehicle was equipped with it.
Therefore the results are representative of the vehicle versions with anti-
lock device in normal operating condition and in case a failure of these
devices.
