DAMP HAIR:

If styling damp hair, the use of a mousse or styling spray is helpful to maintain volume and 
hold curl. Use the concentrator attachment to remove excess moisture from the hair before 
using the styling attachments. The hair should feel moist to touch ( a little more than halfway 
dry).

DRY HAIR:

Hair that is dry should be misted slightly with a water bottle, then combed through. Although 
the air styler may be used on dry hair, misting allows the hair to be more responsive to styling.

OPERATING THE HOT AIR STYLER:

1. Place and lock the desired attachment onto the hot air styler.
2. Plug the styler into an electric outlet.
3. During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice smoke and a slight odor. This 
  is normal and will quickly disappear.
4. Set styler to desired setting. Direct styler through a section of hair at a time. Sections 
  should be used when using the hot air styler. The average section size is “1” thick, “2” 
  wide.
5. When finished, slide the speed switch to the off position and unplug the unit.

ATTACHMENTS: SUGGESTED USES:

AIR CONCENTRATOR: The air concentrator allows you t o direct the air flow on small sections 
of hair as you style and share hair with a brush or comb. You can build body and fullness into 
fine, thin hair by directing the air flow against the natural growth pattern of the hair. Use the 
air concentrator to remove moisture and partially dry the hair before using styling attachments.

THERMAL BRUSH: Add volume and gentle curl to the hiar with these brushes. The thermal 
brush’s heated barrel adds curling power. Style hair until wamr to the touch.

STYLE

CURLED UNDER MEDIUM- LONG HAIR: Begin styling the hiar straight down along the 
length of the hair, from the scalp to “2” above the ends of the hair. After this section of the 
hair is dry, curl the ends under.

SHORT HAIR: While holding the ends of the hair, place the air styler at the base of the section. 
Release the ends of the hair and move the air styler along to the ends. Once at the ends of 
the hair, roll back so the hair is wound like a roller set.

This appliance contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair this appliance yourself. 
Refer service, if necessary to qualified service personel. Untwist cord to avoid tangling.
