SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
• Wichtige Hinweise! Unbedingt aufbewahren! Lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung, insbesondere die Sicherheits-
hinweise, sorgfältig durch bevor Sie das Gerät einsetzen und bewahren Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung für die weitere
Nutzung auf. Wenn Sie das Gerät an Dritte weitergeben, geben Sie unbedingt diese Gebrauchsanweisung mit.
•Das Thermometer beinhaltet Kleinteile, die von Kindern verschluckt werden könnten. Lassen Sie das Thermometer
daher nicht unbeaufsichtigt in Kinderhand.
• Verwenden Sie das Thermometer ausschließlich Zur Körpertemperaturmessung unter der Zunge (oral), in der Achsel-
höhle (axillar) Oder im After (rektal). Benutzen Sie das Thermometer nicht im Ohr.
•Nicht in die Nähe von starken Wärmequellen bringen_ Die Batterie könnte explodieren!
•Das Gerät muss nach 2 Jahren messtechnisch überprüft (kalibriert) werden. Schicken Sie das Thermometer dazu
vollständig an die Serviceadresse.
• Wenn Sie beabsichtigen, das Gerät längere Zeit nicht zu benutzen, entfemen Sie die Batterie.
•Schütteln, biegen Oder klopfen Sie das Thermometer nicht. Lassen Sie es nicht fallen. Es ist nicht stoßfest.
•Schützen Sie das Gerät vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung, extrem hohen Oder niedrigen Temperaturen, Verunreini-
gungen, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Staub.
•Öffnen Sie das Gerät nicht. 1m Falle von Störungen reparieren Sie das Gerät nicht selbst. Benutzen Sie das Gerät
nicht weiter. Fragen Sie Ihren Fachhändler und lassen Sie Reparaturen nur von der Servicestelle durchführen.
•Das Gerät entspricht den Forderungen der Norm EN 60601-1-2 für die elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit. Es
unterliegt besonderen Vorsichtsrnaßnahmen hinsichtlich der elektromagnetischen Verträglichkeit. Beachten Sie, dass
tragbare und mobile HF-Kommunikationseinrichtungen dieses Gerät beeinflussen können. Einzelheiten hierzu
können im Anhang ersehen werden_
•WARNUNG! Achten Sie darauf, dass die Verpackungsfolien nicht in die Hände von Kindern gelangen! Es besteht

Batterie entnehmen I einlegen
Das ecomed Thermometer TM-GOE ist direkt Zum Einsatz bereit, da eine Batterie bereits im Gerät vormon-
tiert ist. Sollte jedoch nach einer gewissen Betriebsdauer im Display ein „
Symbol erscheinen, muss eine neue
Batterie eingelegt werden. Ziehen Sie dazu die Verschlusskappe des Batteriefaches ab und das Batteriefach I
cm aus dem Thermometer heraus. Lösen Sie mit einem geeigneten Werkzeug, z.B. einer Kugelschreiberspitze, die
Knopfbatterie vorsichtig von unten. Setzen Sie die neue Knopfzelle mit dem nach Oben gerichteten „+" Symbol wieder
ein. Schieben Sie das Batteriefach wieder zurück in das Thermometer. Verschließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder mit der
Reinigung und Desinfektion
Das ecomed Thermometer TM-60E ist wasserdicht und lässt Sich dadurch leicht säubern und desinfizieren. Reinigen Sie
das Thermometer vor und nach jeder Messung mit einem in milder, alkoholischer Lösung getränkten Tuch. Sie haben
zudem die Möglichkeit, das Thermometer in eine geeignete Desinfektionslösung zu legen. Ihr Fachhändler empfiehlt
lhnen gerne geeignete Reinigungsprodukte und berät Sie in deren Anwendung. Das Thermometer darf keinesfalls aus-
gekocht werden!
Hinweise Zur Entsorgung
Dieses Gerät darf nicht zusammen mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Jeder Verbraucher ist verpflichtet,
alle elektrischen Oder elektronischen Geräte, egal, 0b sie Schadstoffe enthalten Oder nicht, bei einer Sam-
melstelle seiner Stadt Oder im Handel abzugeben, damit sie einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung zugeführt
werden können. Entnehmen Sie die Batterien, bevor Sie das Gerät entsorgen. Werfen Sie verbrauchte
Batterien nicht in den Hausmüll, sondern in den Sondermüll Oder in eine Batterie-Sammelstation im Fachhan-
del. Wenden Sie Sich hinsichtlich der Entsorgung an Ihre Kommunalbehörde Oder Ihren Händler.

• The thermometer contains small parts that could be swallowed by children. DO not let children handle the thermometer
without adult supervision.
• Only use the thermometer for measuring body temperature under the tongue (oral), in the armpit (axillary) or in the
anus (rectal). Do not use the the thermometer in the ear.
• DO not place the thermometer near extreme heat. There is a danger Of explosion Of the battery!
• The device must be tested for accuracy (calibrated) after 2 years. Please send the complete device to the service
centre.
• If the thermomter is not going to be used for a long period, remove the battery.
• DO not shake, bend or tap the thermometer. DO not drop it. It is not shock-resistant.
• Protect the device from direct sunlight, extremely high or low temperatures, high humidity, dirt and dust.
• DO not open up the device. If a fault occurs, please do not try to repair the unit yourself. Discontinue further use Of the
unit. Contact your dealer and only have repairs carried out by the service.
• The device complies with the EN 60601-1-2 standard for electromagnetic compatibility. It is subject to particular pre-
cautions in regard to electromagnetic compatibility. Please note, that portable and mobile HF communication systems
may interfere with this unit. Please check the appendix for more details on this.
• WARNING! Please ensure that polythene packing is kept away from the reach of children! Risk of suffocation!
Inserting I removing battery
The ecomed thermometer TM-60E is ready to use right away, as the battery is already installed in the unit. However, if
" symbol should appear on the display after the unit has been in operation for some time, you need to replace
the „
the battery. TO do this, remove the battery compartment cover and lift the compartment approx. 1 cm out of the thermom-
eter. Use a suitable tool, e.g. the tip of a ballpoint pen, to carefully lever out the battery. Insert the new battery with the
„+" sign facing upwards. push the battery compartment back into the thermometer and replace the compartment cover.
Cleaning and Disinfection
The ecomed thermometer TM-GOE is waterproof, making it easy to clean and disinfect. Clean the thermometer before
and after each use using a cloth moistened in a mild solution containing alcohol. You may also soak the thermometer in a
suitable disinfectant solution. Your dealer will be happy to recommend suitable cleaning products and give you advice on
their use. The thermometer must never be boiled to disinfect!
Disposal
This product must not be disposed Of together with domestic waste. All users are Obliged to hand in all electri-
cal or electronic devices, regardless of whether or not they contain toxic substances, at a municipal or com-
mercial collection point so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally acceptable manner.
Please remove the batteries before disposing of the device/unit. DO not dispose of old batteries with your
household waste, but at a battery collection station at a recycling site or in a shop. Consult your municipal
authority or your dealer for information about disposal.

Schalten Sie das Gerät durch einen Druck auf die ON/OFF-Taste ein. Alle Symbole der Anzeige erscheinen kurz und
ein Signalton ertönt, gefolgt vom zuletzt gemessenen Temperatunvert. Falls die Temperatur weniger als 32 oc (900F) be-
trägt, sehen Sie in der LCD-Anzeige „Lo" , beträgt die Temperatur mehr als 42,90C (109.90F) erscheint 'Hi". Das ecomed
Thermometer TM-60E ist nun für die Messung bereit. Positionieren Sie die Sensorspitze oral, axillar Oder rektal:
ORALE MESSUNG:
Legen Sie das Thermometer mit der Sensorspitze unter die Zunge und schließen den Mund. Atmen Sie während der
Messung durch die Nase um eine Verfälschung der Werte zu verhindern.
REKTALE MESSUNG:
Die rektale Messung wird von vielen Patienten als unangenehm empfunden, liefert aber genaue Ergebnisse. Für
eine rasche und zuverlässige Ermittlung der Körpertemperatur, führen Sie die Sensorspitze vorsichtig ca. 1 cm in das
Rektum ein.
MESSUNG UNTERHALB DER ACHSELHÖHLE:
Reinigen Sie vor der Messung die Achselhöhle. Legen Sie das Thermometer mit dem Messabschnitt in die Achselhöhle.
Senken Sie den Arm und drücken Sie ihn während der Messung leicht an den Körper.
Das Thermometer beginnt nun automatisch mit der Messung. Während der Messung blinkt ständig das "6 "-Zeichen.
Nach der Messung ertönen ca. 10 Sekunden lang Signaltöne und das Messergebnis wird auf dem Display angezeigt.
Durch Verlängerung der Messdauer über die Signaltöne hinaus werden genauere Messergebnisse erzielt_ Bei Mes-
sungen in der Achselhöhle sollte die Messdauer mindestens 10 Minuten betragen, da diese Messart am ungenauesten
ist_ Wird eine Temperatur von mehr als 37 ,80C (1000F) gemessen, ertönt ein Fieberalarm (kurze Pieptöne).
Das Thermometer schaltet ca. 10 Minuten nach der Messung automatisch ab. um die Lebensdauer der Batterie zu ver-
längern, sollten Sie jedoch nach dem Ablesen das Thermometer durch einen Druck auf die ON/OFF-Taste deaktivieren.

Garantie- und Reparaturbedingungen

Mode d'emploi. lire attentivement!
Press the ON/OFF-button to switch the unit on. All display symbols will appear shortly and a signal tone will be emitted,
followed by the last measured temperature. If the temperature is below 320C (900F), "1-0" is displayed - if the tempera-
ture is above 42,9'C (109.90F), 'Hi" is displayed. The ecomed thermometer TM-60E is now ready to take a temperature
reading. Position the sensor tip in oral, axillary or rectal position:
ORAL READINGS:
Place the sensor tip of the thermometer under the tongue and close your mouth. Breathe through your nose while taking
the reading in order to avoid inaccurate results.
RECTAL READINGS:
Many patients find rectal measurement uncomfortable, but it delivers precise results. To quickly and reliably determine
body temperature, carefully insert the sensor tip approx. I cm into the rectum.
ARMPIT READINGS:
Wash the armpit before taking a reading. Insert the tip of the thermometer into the armpit. Lower the arm and press it
lightly against the body while the reading is being taken.
The thermometer will now automatically begin to take a reading. During the reading, the "O"-sign flashes constantly. After
the reading, you multiple tones will be emitted for approx. 10 seconds and the measurement result will be displayed.
If you continue to measure even after the signal tones have been emitted, the readings will get more accurate. If you
measure the body temperature on the armpit, the measurement duration should be at least 10 minutes in order to get a
reliable result. If the reading is 37 ,80C (IOOF), the thermometer will indicate fever alarm by announcing mutiple beep
sounds (short beeps).
The thermometer will switch Off automatically ten minutes after taking the reading. TO prolong the life Of the battery,
however, you should switch off the thermometer manually by pressing the ON/OFF-button.

Warranty and repair terms
Please contact your dealer or the service centre in case of a claim under the warranty. If you have to return the unit,
please enclose a copy Of your receipt and state what the defect is.
The following warranty terms apply:
l. The warranty period for ecomed products is two years from date Of purchase. In case Of a warranty claim, the date
of purchase has to be proven by means of the sales receipt or invoice.
2. Defects in material or workmanship will be removed free Of charge within the warranty period.
3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the unit or for the replacement parts.
4. The following is excluded under the warranty:
a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g. nonobservance of the user instructions.
b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or unauthorised third parties.
c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the manufacturer to the consumer or during transport to the
service centre.
d. Accessories which are subject to normal wear and tear.

Pulizia e disinfezione
CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
•Remarque importante! Toujours conserver! Lisez attentivement le mode d'emploi, et en particulier les consignes
de sécurité, avant d'utiliser l'appareil. Conservez bien ce mode d'emploi. Vous pourriez en avoir besoin par la suite.
Lorsque vous remettez l'appareil å un tiers, mettez-lui impérativement ce mode d'emploi disposition.
•Le thermométre se compose de petites piéces susceptibles d'étre avalées par des enfants. Ne jamais laisser des
enfants manipuler le thermométre sans surveillance.
•Utilisez le thermométre exclusivement pour la mesure de la température du corps sous la langue (voie orale) dans
l'aisselle (voie axillaire) ou dans l'anus (voie rectale)_ N'utilisez pas le thermométre dans l'oreille.
•Ne le placez pas proximité de sources de chaleur intense. La pile pourrait exploser !
•Aprés 2 ans d'utilisation, le dispositif doit étre vérifié techniquement (calibré). pour ce faire, envoyez-le notre centre
de service.
•Si vous avez l'intention de ne pas utiliser l'appareil pendant une période prolongée, veuillez retirer les piles.
•Ne secouez, pliez ou ne frappez pas le thermométre. Ne le laissez pas tomber. Il ne résiste pas aux chocs.
• Protégez l'appareil de l'ensoleillement direct, des températures extrémement élevées ou extremernent basses, des
saletés et de la poussiére.
•N'ouvrez pas le thermométre. Dans le cas de dysfonctionnements, ne tentez pas de le réparer. Ne l'utilisez plus.
Demandez votre revendeur spécialisé et faites effectuer les réparations uniquement par le service å la clientele.
•L'appareil correspond aux exigences de la norme EN 60601-1-2 pour la compatibilité électromagnétique. Le ther-
mométre est soumis des précautions particuliéres concernant la compatibilité électromagnétique. Notez que les
équipements de communication RF portables et mobiles peuvent l'affecter. Les détails å ce sujet peuvent étre con-
sultés dans l'annexe.
•AVERTISSEMENT ! Veillez å garder les films d'emballage hors de portée des enfants ! IIS risqueraient de s'étouffer !
Retirer I insérer les piles:
Le thermomåtre TM-60E ecomed est directement prét å I'emploi, car la pile est pré-installée dans l'appareil. Lorsqu'au
bout dune certaine durée de service, le symbole „
est affiché dans I'ACL, il faut insérer une pile neuve. Retirez le
couvercle du compartiment å piles et sortez le boitier d'environ 1 cm du thermométre. Å l'aide d'un outil approprié, par
ex. une pointe de tournevis, soulever la pile bouton avec précaution. Insérez la nouvelle pile avec le
symbole „+" vers le haut. Insérez le compartiment å piles dans le thermomåtre.
NETTOYAGE ET DÉSINFECTION
Le thermométre TM-60E ecomed est étanche et peut étre aisément nettoyé et désinfecté. Nettoyez le thermométre
avant et aprés chaque mesure avec un chiffon imbibé d'une solution douce ä base d'alcool. Vous pouvez en outre dés-
infecter le thermométre avec une solution adaptée_ Votre commerqant spécialisé se fera un plaisir de VoUs conseiller et
recommander des produits de nettoyage appropriés. Le thermométre ne doit jamais étre bouilli !
Elimination de l'appareil
Cet appareil ne doit pas étre placé avec les ordures ménagéres. Chaque consommateur doit ramener
les appareils électriques Ou électroniques, qu'ils contiennent des substances nocives ou non, å un point
de collecte de sa commune ou dans le commerce afin de permettre leur élimination écologique.
Retirez les piles avant de jeter l'appareil. Ne mettez pas les piles usagées å la poubelle, placez-les
avec les déchets spéciaux ou déposez-les dans un point de collecte des piles usagées dans les com-
merces specialisés. pour plus de renseignements Sur l'élimination des déchets, veuillez VoUs adresser
aux services de votre commune ou bien å votre revendeur.

Inserimento I estrazione della batteria
Il termometro TM-60E ecomed subito pronto per l'uso, perché fornito con una batteria giä inserita. Set tuttavia,
dopo un certo periodo di utilizzo dovesse comparire Sulla destra del display il simbolo
, occorre Insenre una nuova
batteria. A questo scopo togliere il coperchietto di chiusuradel vano batteria ed estrarre quest'ultimo di ca. 1 cm dal ter-
mometro. Aiutandosi con un attrezzo adatto allo scopo, ad esempio la Punta di una biro, togliere con cautela la batteria
a bottone facendo leva dal basso. Inserire la nuova pila con il simbolo „+" rivolto verso ['alto. Inserire di nuovo il vano
Il termometro TM-60E ecomed é impermeabile e quindi si pub pulire e disinfettare facilmente. Detergere il termometro
prima e dopo ogni misurazione con un panno imbevuto in una soluzione alcolica delicata. Si pub, inoltre, immergere
il termometro in un'apposita soluzione disinfettante. Il vostro rivenditore specializzato sarå lieto di raccomandarvi dei
prodotti detergenti adeguati e di consigliarvi sull'uso degli stessi. Il termometro non deve essere in nessun caso immerso
in acqua bollente!
Smaltimento
L'apparecchio non pub essere smaltito insieme ai rifiuti domestici- Ogni utilizzatore ha l'obbligo di gettare
tutte le apparecchiature elettroniche o elettriche, contenenti o prive di sostanze nocive, presso un punto di
raccolta della propria cittå 0 di un rivenditore specializzato, in mod0 che vengano smaltite nel rispet-
to dell'ambiente. Togliere le pile prima di smaltire 10 strumento. Non gettare le pile esaurite nei rifiuti

Allumez l'appareil en appuyant Sur la bouton ON/OFF. Tous les symboles s'affichent briévement Sur l'écran et vouS
entendrez un bip, suivi par la derniére valeur de température mesurée. Si la température est inférieure å 320C (900F),
l'écran LCD affiche « LO h, si la température dépasse 42,90C (109,90F) s'affiche « Hi Le thermométre ecomed
TM-60E est maintenant prét pour la mesure. Insérez l'extrémité du capteur par voie orale, axillaire ou rectale :
MESURE BUCCALE :
Placer la pointe du capteur du thermométre sous la langue et fermer la bouche. Respirer par le nez durant la mesure
pour ne pas fausser le résultat.
MESURE RECTALE •
La mesure rectale est désagréable pour de nombreux patients, mais permet d'obtenir un résultat précis. pour déter-
miner rapidement et fiablement la température corporelle, introduire prudemment la pointe de mesureenviron 1 cm
dans l'anus.
MESURE DANS LE CREUX DE L'AISSELLE :
Nettoyer le creux de l'aisselle avant la mesure. Placer la pointe du capteur du thermométre dans le creux de l'aisselle.
Abaisser le bras et le garder légérement pressé contre le corps durant la mesure.
Le thermométre commence automatiquement avec la mesure. Pendant la mesure, le signe "0" clignote en permanence.
Aprés la mesure retentissent des bips pendant environ 10 secondes et le résultat de la mesure est affiché sur l'écran,
En allongeant la durée de la mesure au-delå des bips, la mesure des résultats devient plus précise. Lors des mesures
dans l'aisselle, maintenez-y le thermometre au moins pendant 10 minutes, car ce type de mesure est le moins précis.
Si la température mesurée dépasse 37 ,8cc (IOOF), une alarme flévre retentit (plusieurs bips courts).
Le thermométre s'éteint automatiquement au bout de dix minutes aprés la mesure, Afin de prolonger la durée de vie de
la pile, vous pouvez cependant éteindre le thermométre aprés la lecture de la température en appuyant sur la bouton
ON/OFF.
Accendere l'apparecchio premendo il pulsante ON/OFF. Tutti i simboli di notifica compaiono brevemente e il dispositivo
emette un segnale acustico, seguito dall'ultimo valore di temperatura misurato. Se la temperatura é inferiore ai 320C
(900F), sul display LCD comparirä il messaggio "1-0", se la temperatura é invece superiore ai 42,9'C (109.90F), com-
parirå il messaggio "Hi". Il termometro ecomed TM-60E é ora pronto per l'uso. Posizionare la Punta munita di sensore
sotto la lingua, sotto l'ascella 0 nell'ano:
MISURAZIONE ORALE:
Mettere il termometro con la Punta del sensore sotto la lingua e chiudere la bocca. Durante la misurazione respirare con
il naso per evitare di alterare i valori rilevati.
MISURAZIONE RETTALE:
La misurazione rettale, ritenuta fastidiosa da molti pazienti, då invece risultati precisi. Per un rilevamento della tempera-
tura corporea veloce e attendibile, inserire con cautela la Punta del sensorenel retto per ca. 1 cm.
MISURAZIONE SOTTO IL CAVO ASCELLARE:
Prima di effettuare la misurazione, pulire l'ascella. Mettere il termometro con la Punta del sensore nel cavo ascellare.
Abbassare il braccio e premerlo leggermente contro il corpo durante la misurazione.
Il termometro awia la misurazione automaticamente. Durante la misurazione lampeggia di continuo il simbolo
A misurazione completata il dispositivo emette un segnale acustico per circa 10 secondi e sul display compare il valore
misurato. Prolungando il tempo di misurazione Oltre il segnale acustico, si rileveranno valori di misurazione ancora piü
esatti. Se si utilizza il termometro per via ascellare, attendere minimo 10 minuti poiché questa modalitä di misurazione
é la pib imprecisa. Se viene misurata una temperatura superiore ai 37 ,80C (IOOF), il dispositivo emette un segnale
acustico di allarme febbre (bip brevi).
Il terrnometro si spegne automaticamente dieci minuti dopo la misurazione. Per prolungare la durata della batteria, tut-
tavia, si consiglia di disattivare il terrnometro dopo la lettura, premendo il tasto ON/OFF.
Il marchio CE si riferisce alla direttiva CE 93/42/EEC. La forma e la produzione sono state effettuate in osservanza delle
seguenti norme europee: EN 12470 3 (termometro medico), EN 980 (simboli), EN 60601-1 (Sicurezza elettrica per
