FOOD

PREPARING FRESH FOOD FOR FREWNG
It is important ta wrap food sa that no water, moisture, or vapour may penetrate: Mis avolds the transfer

• When shopping, leave frozen food purchases kindi last and transport the pro  «s in a thermally 
  insulated cool bag.
• Place the items in the freezer compartment as soon as you get hame.
• Avoid, or reduce terrıperature variations ta the ~iman.
• Respect the best-before data on the package.
• Ahvays observe the storage information on the padaıge. 
SEAUNG
When sealing food in bags, squeeze out the air first.
Place labeis on the irade of clear freezer bags; use selfadhesive la,bels on the outside of opaque °nes, 
Seal the top of the bag with a fastener.
DEFROST1NG
Here ara some helpful tips.
Raw vegetables: do not thaw, put straight into baAing water and cook as usual.
Meat (large cuu): thaw in the refrigerator compartment without unwrapping. Before cooking. leave at 
room temperature for a couple of hours.
Meat (small cuts): thaw at roorn temperature or cook Eroin frozen.
Fhh: thaw in the refrigerator compartment without unwrapping or cook before fully thawed.
In the event of a povver failure, the freezer compartment maintains the appropriate storage temperature 
for approxanately 12 hours; during thls time, we suggest you leave the door of the compartment dosed. 
Do not refreeze partially thawed food.
Previously cooked food: reheat in the oven vıkhout removing it from Its alurninium container. 
Fruit: thaw in the refrigerator compartment
NOTE: Never olace warm food in the freezer, instead allovı it ta cool at room temperature for 30 
minutes, then wrap it and piace in the freezer. Cooling hor foods before freezing ~re eneryy and 
prolongs the life of the eppllance.
