DETECTION AREA
Detection area of motion sensors depends on the angle between PIR detector and moving
direction, temperature, mounting style and mounting
places.
Temperature is very important for operation of motion sensors like all electronic devices. Using
higher val ue of loads written on manuals and packages will decrease temperature inside the device
when using Na-De Motion Sensor. As a res ult detection range will decrease
and may ca use defect of electronic components. Environment temperature will also ca use
decrease of detection range. Detection range given is determined at 20 °C .If the weather is hot, it
will decrease.
Detection range is determined at the temperature of 20 °C.

Walking tangential to the sensor
(normal detection range)
Figure 1
Walking directly to the sensor
(lover detection range)
The maxim um detection range can be realized when walking tangential to the sensor
(Figure 1). When walking directly to the sensor detection range will be low. Because yo
will not be able to cut vertical areas. Detection range of Na-De Motion Sensors is
8 meters as diameter 4 meters as radi us.
This item is prod uced according to 73 / 23 / EEC(Low Voltage Directive) and
