4.Operation
• Plug into a wall electrical socket
• Close the lid. To preheat, the power light (RED) goes “on” wait for about 3 minutes.
• The correct operating temperature has been reached when the red light goes.
• During operation,the temperature indicating light (GREEN) will go “ON” and “OFF”
and indicates that the controls are functioning correctly.
• Place the sandwiches in the SANDWICH MAKER and gently but firmly close the lid
until you feel the catch click into place.
• DO NOT FORCE THE LID DOWN. Allow the sandwich to toast for approximately two
minutes. Toasting time will be up to user. SANDWICH MAKER will toast both sides
of the sandwiches at once ang will seal in the flavors. In most cases the sandwich
will require gentle pressure with a knife to separate them.
• While the plates are coated with non-stick coating,some fillings may melt and cause
the sandwich to adhere to the plates. To free the sandwiches, use a plastic spatula.
• Never use a sharp object cuch as a knife or metal objects. This will damage the
non-stick coating. Warnind!During use, the plates may become very hot, and should
be freated wich extreme caution.
• The temperature of accessible surfaces may be higu when the appliance is operating.
• The plate should be changed when the plug is removed from the supply socket.
• The plate should be changed when it is completely cold.
• When the cord is damaged,it should be repaired by the manufacturer,its service
department or similar technicians.
For best cooking results:
• Always preheat your SANDWICH MAKER.
• Always butter the outsides or the bread slices.
• We recommend the use of cheddar cheeses. Avoid using processed cheese, a
there tend to “run” under high temperatures.
5.Cleaning and storing
Before cleaning:
• Switch off unit at the power outlet. Remove the plug from the mains, allows the
SANDWICH MAKER to cool.
• INSIDE. Wipe with soft cloth, which has been rinsed, almost dry in warm soapy
wate.wipe dry with a soft cloth.
• Do not use steel wool, scouring pads or abrasive pads.(on either the inside or outside
of the SANDWICH MAKER.)
