Once the installation has been ended, check that the Ex boxes and the relative cable glands are
closed correctly. Such verification must be subsequently conducted at regular intervals. Neither
intercharge nor replace outlet box covers.
ATTENTION :
Fuel dispenser are hazardous-zone claassified since they are intended for use in potentially explosive
atmospheres. Any alteration to electrical apparatus and/or cabling methodology as well as use of any
spare parts different from Mepsan originals,may impair the safety of the whole dispenser. Any
alteration without appropriate modification may invalidate the equipment legality.
VAPOUR RECOVERY SYSTEM
Installation
When installing vapour shear valves follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer. The vapour
recovery system should be connected to the vapour riser at the same time that the dispenser fuel
piping is connected.
The use of the vappour recovery device does not require particular precautions other than what
prescribed for the dispenser, where applicable. Both functional test and V/L ratio verification must be
conducted at regular intervals, in compliance with relevant standarts in force in the destination country.
Ensure that vapour recovery device oprates correctly by checking the led on the computing head
screen. If the led fleshes, do not attempt to repari the device but always apply to the authorized
maintenance company or directly to the manufacturer.
ATTENTION :
The flame arresters inside the vapour recovery pump must be inspected at regular intervals and it
necessary disassembled and cleaned. The fexible cables must also be inspected ; if they are found
defective or damaged, the whole vapour recovery unit must be replaced or sent to the maintenance
companies authorized by Mepsan.
