2.2.1.18.2. Inspections and their results
2.2.1.18.2.1. Position
All rear-view mirrors are attached in such a way that they remain in stable
position under normal vehicle driving conditions.
The rear-view mirrors are fitted or set in such a way that the centre of the
reflecting surface is at least 280 mm towards the outside of the median
longitudinal plane of the vehicle.
The rear-view mirrors are so placed that the driver, when sitting on the
driving seat in a normal driving position, has a clear view of the road to the
rear and sides of the vehicle.
