2.2.1.4.7.2. Retention system
The both stand(s) is (are) provided with a retention system which holds it
(them) in the retracted or travelling position. The system consists of two
independent springs for the centre stand and one spring made by twin wire
(two wires in parallel) for the prop stand.

2.2.1.5.2. General requirements
Provisions are made to carry a passenger.
The vehicle is equipped with a hand-hold system in the form of two hand-
grips which are at both sides of the passenger seating position on the saddle
and symmetrical to the median longitudinal plane of the vehicle.
The hand-grips with its (their) attachment respectively can withstand
without snapping the required load according to Annex, paragraph 1.2. of
Directive 93/32/EEC.

2.2.1.6.1. Title
Protective devices intended to prevent the unauthorised use of two- or three-
wheel motor vehicles
2.2.1.6.2. General requirements
The vehicle type is fitted with a type-2 protective device intended to prevent
unauthorised use.
The equipped immobilizer (type: 5VX-00 or 5S4-00) was not subjected to
additional tests.
The protective device is designed such that:
– it is necessary to disable it in order to point, drive or move the vehicle
straight ahead;
– the key can only be removed when the catch is fully engaged or
withdrawn. It is impossible to obtain any intermediate position of the
key which may subsequently engage the bolt, even if the key for the
protective device is introduced.
The above requirements are met by manipulating the key just once.
