2.2.1.1.6.2. Optical warning device for anti-lock device failure
A warning lamp is fitted in the driver’s field of view, which signals any
failure of the anti-lock devices.
This tell-tale is visible even in daylight. It turns on after the ignition system
of the vehicle is switched on, and it turns off after no failure of the anti-lock
device is detected.
2.2.1.1.6.3. Residual braking performance in the event of failure of the anti-lock device
The performance corresponds to that stated under section 2.2.1.1.4.2. above
(refer to explanation under section 2.2.1.1.5.1. above).
Annex, Appendix 2, section 3.3. (Appendix 1, section 2.1.2.) of Directive
93/14/EEC is fulfilled.
2.2.1.1.6.4. Resistance to electromagnetic fields
The anti-lock devices were subjected to additional tests to evaluate the
immunity against electromagnetic fields of the system under operating
conditions on the dynamometer.
No degradation of the anti-lock device due to the exposure to
electromagnetic fields was observed.
For detailed test conditions and results, refer section 2.2.1.23. below.
