4. SPECIAL PROPERTIES I. With gear and teeth bar to close the lid: As per the principle of both the gear and teeth bar move together synchronously, the clasps on both sides lock and open together. Thus, the state of one side being clasped properly and the other will not occur, which ensures the clasps on both sides locking the cook body, and the lid will steady and reliable. II. The doubled bottom-wall of the cooker is made by friction pres- sure, which makes it strong and reliable, and without any chink. III. The diameter of doubled bottom-wall is bigger than these of the other common products, which makes cooker absorb heat faster. IV. Avaliable with 5. HOW TO USE THE PRESSURE COOKER When it used for the first time, please clean it with food cleaning liquid. Heating with water for half an hour will eliminate peculiar smell. I. Make sure that the steam-releasing hole is unobstructed. Every time before use, check and make sure that the hole of both safety valve and steam-releasing valve is unobstructed. If they are obstructed, clean them with dredging needle. II. Close the lid Turn the jib handle clockwise at an angle of 90 till a sound “click” can be heard, which means the clasps are open. Then put the lid with the clasps opened on the cooker mouth, take away the pressure-limiting valve, hold the handle, press down gently and turn the lid counter-clockwise to an angle of 90, when a sound “click” is heard and the mark on the handle aligns to the white point on the plastic cover, this means the lid is closed properly and cooking can be done. 25
