2.2.1.1.1. Title
Braking of two- or three-wheel motor vehicles
2.2.1.1.2. General requirements
The vehicle is equipped with two independent braking devices with
independent controls, one device with hand control acting on the front
wheel, and the other with foot control acting on the rear wheel.
The vehicle fulfils the construction and fitting requirements as prescribed in
the Annex, section 2. of the Directive 93/14/EEC. The described braking
performance was obtained without locking of the wheels, without deviation
of the vehicle from its course and without abnormal vibration.
2.2.1.1.3. Tests with wet brakes
The disc brakes are fully exposed.
The wetting of the discs was done at a flow rate of 15 l/hr on the brake
according to Annex, Appendix 1, section 1.3. of Directive 93/14/EEC.
