Super freezing
Food should be frozen solid as quickly as
possible. Vitamins, nutritional values,
appearance and taste are therefore
retained.
To prevent an undesirable temperature
rise when placing fresh food in the freezer
compartment, swtch on super freezing
several hours beforehand.
As a rule, 4—6 hours is adequate. If max.
freezing capacity is to be utilised,
24 hours are required.
Smaller quantities of food (up to 2 kg) can
be frczen without "Super freezing
Switching the super freezing
compartments on and off
The super freezing button, Fig. A'3,
activates and deactivates this mode.
Super freezing switches off automatically
after 21/2 days at the latest.
Super cooling
Super cooling cools the refrigerator
compartment as cold as possible for
approx. 6 hours. Then the temperature
set before super cooling mode is
automatically restored.
Switch or super cooling mode, e.g.:
• Before placing large quantities of food in
the refrigerator compartment.
• To cool drirks quickly.
Switching super cooling on and off
The supe( cooling button, Fig. 0'6,
activates and deactivates this mode.
Max. freezer capacity
Food should be frozen right through as
quickly as possible. Only in this way are
vitamins. nutritional values, appearance
and taste retained. Therefore, you should
not exceed the maximum freezing
capacity of your appliance.

Informaton about the max. freezing
capacity within 24 hours can be found
on the rating plate.
Defrosting frozen
produce
Depending on the type of food and
intended use, frozen produce can be
defrosted:
At room temperature,
• In a refrigerator,
• In an electric oven with/without fan
assisted hot-air,
• In a microwave
Note
Do NOT refreeze focd which is beginning
to defrost or which has alreedy defrosted.
Only food waich is subsequently prepared
(cooked or fried) may be refrozen.
No longer store the frozen produce for the
max storage period
